Warm Up

It is always prudent to warm up prior to a strength-training workout.
a few minutes of progressive warm up exercise physiologically and psychologically prepares the body for higher levels of effort and energy utilization. Although warm-up routines may take many form, it is advisable to include some light aerobic activity such as a stationary cycling or stair climbing.

It is also important to perform stretching exercises for the major muscle groups, paying particular attention to the low back area. Because many clients are pressed for time, they often eliminate the warm up exercises.

Take full advantage of a progressive warm up to reduce risk of injury and enhance training responsiveness.
